Natasha Hayden

Education Programs & Development Coordinator


Natasha Hayden serves as education programs and development coordinator for the Opportunity Rising Foundation, a position she has held since September 2023. In her current role, Ms. Hayden directs the foundation’s scholarship program, which includes the management of four key scholarships available to students living in DHA-supported housing. 

In addition to managing the scholarship program, Natasha oversees the foundation’s internship program, promotes valuable mentorship opportunities and coordinates college tours to lead students toward achieving educational and professional goals.

With more than two decades of experience in executive-level positions for both mid-size and large-scale non-profit organizations, Natasha brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role. Drawing on her substantial experience in mentorship and program development, Ms. Hayden helps meet the needs of students and equips both students and their parents with tools to reach their full potential. 

Growing up in the South Bronx in New York City, Ms. Hayden relocated to Texas in 2006, where she has since served in various positions centered around youth, including roles with ACH Child and Family Services in Fort Worth and a long-standing role as executive director for Grayson County Juvenile Alternatives, Inc., in Sherman, Texas. Ms. Hayden encouraged youth and families to develop positive, healthy lifestyles promoting safety and well-being.

Ms. Hayden received her Bachelor of Arts in child psychology, and Master of Education (MEd) in teacher leadership. She is a certified Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) Practitioner and is a Licensed Child Care Administrator (LCCA) for the Texas Department of Social Services (DFPS).
